Ferrari looks to the future

How would you like to see your ideas turned into a bright red reality by working with the Prancing Horse? Venerable Italian supercar maker Ferrari is offering six grants of 25,000 Euros each (around £20,000) to young people with big ideas.

The competition, which is open to students worldwide, will see six lucky graduates receive the money over a 12-month period to work on research they've proposed themselves, with Ferrari having picked the best ideas.

Students must submit research proposals based on either CO₂ reduction, car weight reduction or man machine interface - so the winning researchers could well see the fruits of their work featured in the next-generation of Ferraris.
