Audi is turning up the heat on its TT range with the arrival of the 268bhp TTS version.
The TTS will be available as a Coupé or Roadster and will be the fastest ever TT.
Both the Coupé and Roadster will go from 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds and have a 155mph top speed.
The TTS uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine and can be ordered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or Audi's DSG 'box that will cost an extra £1,400.
Buyers choosing the DSG gearbox also enjoy even quicker acceleration as the TTS fitted with this transmission covers 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds.
Fuel economy is impressive for such a brisk car and the TTS Coupé manages 35.3mpg combined consumption, or 34.4mpg for the Roadster.
The TTS is easily spotted by its LED daytime running lights, reshaped front spoiler, deeper side skirts and four rear exhaust pipes.
There are also 18-inch alloy wheels and aluminium covered door mirrors.
The TTS Coupe costs from £33,380 and the Roadster starts at £35,380.
