Take one of the smallest cars on the road, add 2.7m to its chassis and you have the world's only Smart limo.

Created by custom car specialist Carbonyte, they've even stretched the unique car's name to Smaaart.

Standing at more than twice the length of a standard Smart, the Smaaart has a scaled up replica of a drinks can moulded into its bodywork.

The car has been made for promotional work and the space inside is used to store items for work.

However, Carbonyte's Chris Wright says the company will be happy to build another Smaaart for anyone who wants one and has the £25,000 to pay for it.

The Smaaart took 300 man hours over four weeks to create and has a light alloy chassis underneath the distinctive bodywork.

It uses the original 600cc engine and gearbox, and can reach speeds of up to 80mph.

Carbonyte has built other limousines, notably the world's first Ferrari limo.

The company is also looking at turning the Smaaart into a hearse for funeral directors that want an environmentally coffin carrier.
