While filming for the new series of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson was injured in a high-speed head-on collision.
Despite the severity of the accident, Top Gear's front man walked away with what are described as minor injuries to his legs, hand and back.
Jeremy told The Mirror: "My right index finger looked like a burst sausage, my left shin was fatter than my thigh and my back felt like someone had driven over it with a pile-driver."
This accident was Clarkson's first serious crash in 31 years of driving.
Two years ago, Clarkson's co-host, Richard Hammond survived an horrific high-speed crash in a dragster, also while filming for the BBC's hit show.
News of Jeremy's crash comes just a few weeks before the new series of Top Gear is set to air on BBC, though it's unlikely that the schedule will be interrupted.
Further Top Gear news this week surrounds the possible creation of a Russian version of the show, following on from the new Australian and American programmes launched this year.
