CLK 63 AMG Black Series

Late night pub discussions often come down to what is essentially a spoken game of Top Trumps. The CLK 63 AMG Black Series is a good car to have in such circumstances. Maximum power: 500bhp; peak torque: 465lb.ft; engine: 6.2-litre V8; top speed: 186mph; 0-62mph: 4.3 seconds. Impressive, huh?

But numbers don't so this extreme version of the CLK justice. You'll need to drag your drinking chums along to see the Black Series version of the CLK in the cold, sober light of day and compare it to the 'regular' 63 AMG model. Then it may begin to look a little familiar to some of them, as the Black Series edition is closely based on the version Mercedes used as a Safety Car accompanying Formula One and it wasn't exactly outclassed in that company either. Trump that.
