Goodwood Festival of Speed, The gift of speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is always an absolute blast, showcasing some of the fastest, most expensive, rarest and most unusual cars out there - as well as a few of motorsport's best known names and faces. This year the line-up looks delicious as ever, with confirmed guests including Sebastian Loeb and his Citroen C4 WRC car, and Lewis Hamilton. We're not sure who he is, but rumour has it he's quite the up-and-coming star of Formula Ford or something.

The centrepiece of Goodwood is the hill climb and both the aforementioned stars will tackle it - Loeb, it's rumoured, could be racing a brand new Citroen GT concept supercar, while Hamilton will drive his championship winning 2008 McLaren F1 car - and Ayrton Senna's winning car from 1998. Jenson Button will be there too.

It starts on the 3rd July and ends on the 5th, so there's still plenty of time to organise it as a special treat for Father's Day, with tickets priced from £33 for the Friday and £48 for the main Saturday event.
