This Hummer H3 is the largest radio-controlled car you could imagine.

It works just like a remote-controlled toy car but is based on a full-size Hummer H3 off-roader.

Boffins at Cranfield University created the car just for fun and say it handles like a normal H3 - just without a driver on board.

The 244bhp H3 is worked from a hand-set and it creator Dr James Brighton says: 'It took a month to convert the Hummer into a super-sized remote control car, but we've had lots of fun in the process.'

A spokesman from Hummer said: 'It's the ultimate big boy's toy.'
