Five of the best Le Mans legends

With Audi winning one of the closest Le Mans in history this weekend, we thought we'd look at some of the legendary cars from the race's history. Few races hold as much wonder as the 24 hours of Le Mans, the famous endurance race being the one of the most prestigious in the world. Winning Le Mans is a phenomenal achievement, requiring huge investment, not just in terms of money, but also time. Some succeed, many fail and a few dominate. Others come fuelled by dreams and create legends - others come with every conceivable advantage and never win. Our five of the best Le Mans legends are all hugely significant, but in truth any car finishing the race deserves recognition.
