Right, this one's £6,800, so it's a 'toy' for only the very wealthiest of families. However ridiculous that price tag might sound for a pedal car once you've seen it you'll understand. It's absolutely beautiful, not just because it's a near-perfect half-size recreation of Audi's 1930's Auto Union Type C Grand Prix car, but because of the craftsmanship that's obviously been lavished on it to create it. Just 999 examples will ever be built, each assembled in Audi's high performance engineering subsidiary, quattro GmbH. That's where they build Audi R8s by the way!
It's built from lightweight aluminium, features in-board disc brakes and gears like those on a bicycle. A leather covered seat and steering wheel, spoked wheels and skinny tyres complete the vintage racer look, the swooping body painted in Audi's Avus silver. It's so special everyone here wishes we were a bit shorter - the half-size pedal car only able to accommodate a driver of no more than 1.35-metres or 4.4 feet high.
