Computer console driving games are undeniably fun, but there's nothing to match the thrill of a genuine head-to-head race on a slot-car track. And Scalextric is offering you the chance to be Lewis Hamilton with its excellent Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Scalextric Digital track. The 488cm long track is in an oval-style layout and comes with a pair of McLaren Mercedes cars to re-enact this year's gripping F1 Championship. With lane changing facilities allowing drivers to block each other this Scalextric Digital set-up creates a very authentic racing experience.

Building the track is as much fun as racing on it too, and with plenty of track pieces additionally available you can become a budding F1 track designer.
