Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT, Lucky 21

As hypercars go the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren has been an enormous commercial success. That means there are lots of them about, so it's not unlikely to pull up at the lights in Beverly Hills alongside another. If you consider your SLR a bit too common as a result then give the people at Ray Mallock Ltd a call and they'll turn your road going SLR into a track-only monster. As with all racers weight is removed, downforce increased, grip improved and the suspension is honed, the result being the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT. It's officially sanctioned by Mercedes-Benz and only 21 will ever be built. Run through the SLR Club, owners will get access to driver training from SLR Club instructors, the roster of names including David Coulthard, Jochen Mass, Chris Goodwin and Christina Surer.

More than merely a track-day toy, you can actually race other owners at specially organised events around the world. What better way to prove you're better than your super wealthy mates than beating them not just to a big business deal but the first corner and finish line in this 671bhp monster?
