New Audi estate most spacious in class

Audi's new A4 Avant estate model will offer more luggage space than any of its rivals says Audi.

A total load capacity of 1,430-litres betters the BMW 3 Series Touring, though the Mercedes C-Class Estate has 1,500-litres of space.

However, Audi says the A4 Avant's boot is better shaped to carry large objects.

The Avant will be offered with the same engines as the newly introduced A4 saloon.

All V6-powered cars will have quattro four-wheel drive as standard.

The A4 Avant will be unveiled at the Geneva show and deliveries in the UK start in June.
