It's only fitting to include the original California and there are two versions up for grabs here. The oldest - though you'd be hard pressed to guess it - is the 1958 250 GT California Spyder LWB - or long wheelbase. Its exotic 3.0-litre V12 puts out 240bhp, which is tiny in comparison to modern day standards, but we'd struggle to find a new car as achingly gorgeous as this one, and that includes Ferrari's new California.
However, one car in the same auction does manage to surpass even this beauty. It's actually another 250 GT California Spyder, though this time a 1961 model with a 200mm shorter wheelbase. It shares the same V12 engine, albeit with an increased 280bhp being fed to the rear wheels. If it looks familiar, that's because a replica of this car was used in the Ferris Bueller's Day Off movie. Given that the LWB version is expected to sell for up to three million Euros (with the SWB estimated to be worth potentially half a million Euros more), this is not a car to let out of your sight.
