Despite its age, the 340 racer features a 4.1-litre V12, putting its 230bhp to the rear wheels via a five-speed gearbox. The 340 America Coupe was a rare beast, with 23 originally produced. In those days, the coachbuilders fitted their own bodywork, and the version up for sale was done by Ghia. Only four examples were, which goes some way to explaining the likely selling price of between €1.2 and €1.5 million...
