Ferrari is rumoured to be working on a more affordable entry-level model, but Idries Omar couldn't wait for that so styled his own idea of what a Ferrari bambino should look like. He initially wanted to the call his design the GTO, but decided that the F250 name sounded better for this concept.

Idries explains: "I designed this car originally as a Dino concept, but the name didn't compliment the design, so I went for something more Ferrari, hence F250."

The idea is the car would use a 2.5-litre V6 engine, similar to the original Dino's, but run on bio-fuel to bring it bang up to date for the 21st century.

Ferrari has made no comment on Idries' concept design. It's reckoned Ferrari will unveil its own small sports car within the next 12 months, which will use an F430 platform as its base and cost around £80,000 to compete with the Aston Martin Vantage.
