Auto China was hosted in Beijing this year. Time to sit up and pay attention to the Chinese car market.
Our motorshow coverage is pretty comprehensive, but from now on we may need to include another. Auto China 2006 was a strong indication that the largest motorshow in China needs to be taken very seriously indeed, especially when you consider that China has the world's second-largest car market, after the United States. Amongst the home-grown oddities were these five 'western' cars destined for the Chinese market.
