The newest kid on the block moves straight to the top of the pile. We knew that the four-seat Colt CZC was going to be a looker well before it was launched thanks to a concept version being dragged around the motor show circuit. The production model stays true to the show car.

Sharp styling is without doubt one of the most important aspects of a car in this segment, and the Colt does not disappoint. Based on the good-looking Colt three-door, the open-topped car manages to look cool without going too far on the cute side, ensuring that male buyers will not be turned off.

Mitsubishi has fitted the CZC with a choice of two engines, including a turbocharged version with proper hot hatch performance. With a chassis based on the CZT mini hot hatch, this should be one of the best small coupe-convertibles to drive. Its pricing is extremely competitive too.
