Gerrard's Range Rover is a steal

Used car buyers got a shock when they stumbled across a rather famous Range Rover on Auto Trader's website: Steven Gerrard's daily runabout, no less.

The one-year-old Range Rover Vogue was placed on autotrader.co.uk with an asking price of £52,990 - almost £10k less than its list price, and that's not including the £22,000 worth of extras the Liverpool and England ace lavished upon it. The spec sheet included a custom leather interior, with Gerrard's Liverpool squad number stitched into the seats, wool rugs, a DVD system and a set of huge, Premiership-spec alloy wheels.

More than 330,000 people visited the listing before it was promptly grabbed by a mystery buyer. Usually, Premiership stars sell their cars through specialist dealerships, but Auto Trader is increasingly hosting celebrity rides for sale: David Beckham; Jeremy Clarkson; Wayne Rooney; Sir Alan Sugar and Mike Tyson, to name a few.

Our very own used car search here on Yahoo! Cars is powered by Auto Trader, so why not check it out to see if you could get your hands on a celebrity chariot of your very own? After all, why buy a regular Ferrari F430 when you could have Rod Stewart's for over £50k less than list price?
