The Citroen C5 Tourer is aiming to deliver on quality when it goes on sale next month.

Following on from the C5 saloon, the Tourer is set to challenge the Ford Mondeo and Mazda 6 estates.

Citroen has found 505-litres of space with the rear seats in place and 1500-litres when the back seats are folded flat to the floor.

Other clever design touches are carried over from its predecessor, such as the rear suspension that can be lowered at the touch of a button to make loading heavier items easier.

A motorised tailgate will be an option allowing owners to open or close it by just a press of a button on the key fob.

The front interior is identical to the saloon's and a massage seat will be an option.

Citroen will offer the same range of engines for the Tourer as it does for the saloon and prices start at £16,695.
