Maserati has significantly updated its Quattroporte luxury sports saloon, with styling changes inside and out and the addition of a new S model topping off the range.
The new two-model line-up consists of simply the Quattroporte and the Quattroporte S, with both models transmitting power to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
Where as the entry-level car makes do with the 395bhp 4.2-litre V8, the S model features a new 4.7-litre V8, a version of which powers the high-performance GranTurismo S.
The new Quattroporte also takes styling cues from its two-door cousin, including a large, rounded grille with prominent vertical slats.
Other exterior modifications include LED lights, bigger bumpers and side sills and more aerodynamic mirrors.
Inside, the new Quattroporte houses Maserati's new infotainment system, along with a redesigned centre console.
Further specification details and pricing will be announced closer to the launch date.
