TH!NK City

The TH!NK project has been simmering away for a while now, its City car being revealed this week at the motor show in London. The City's creators claim it to be the only crash-tested and highway-certified electric car available, which also happens to be 95% recyclable. A two-seater, the TH!NK has a range of around 126 miles in town, a top speed of 65mph bettering the majority of its competition, too.

It reaches 30mph in 6.5 seconds and 50mph in 16 seconds - more than enough to keep up with city traffic. An overnight top-up of electricity is all that's required to power it, TH!NK claiming that over 10,000 miles the TH!NK City will only require £100 worth of electricity. Manufactured in Norway, the first right-hand drive TH!NKs will be delivered to UK customers in summer 2009, prices announced nearer the on-sale date.
