Toyota RiN

Think of the RiN as a yoga master on wheels. It's designed to calm its driver and passengers, by promoting a 'healthy rhythm for both mind and body'. Its seats help maintain good back posture, while a 'mood training' instrument cluster displays images aligned to the driver's psychological state. There's an oxygen-level conditioner and humidifier, the RiN's green glass reducing infiltration of ultraviolet and infrared light to make the surroundings brighter and clearer.

Adding to the interior tranquillity is a colour scheme in deep green and beige, which is said to enrich the complexion of those travelling on board to 'evoke a healthy mental and physical feeling'. It's not just those onboard who benefit from the RiN's nicely nicely approach, its headlamps taking into consideration pedestrians and vehicles coming in the other direction. That's all well and good, but there's no denying that it looks like the strange offspring from the mating of a Dyson vacuum cleaner and a golf cart.
