Lamborghini's Academy dates have been released for 2009 for drivers wanting to experience the fearsome performance available from the supercars wearing the raging bull badge. The Academy promises to be more than merely a brief run in Lamborghini's exotic machines too, the programme concentrating on optimum control and performance. Unsurprisingly then all the classes are preceded by technical and safety briefings.

Taking place at a number of European circuits you can experience either the Gallardo LP560-4 or the Murcielago LP 640. You'll be paired with a professional driving instructor, who'll teach you how to manage over- and understeer and perfect your racing lines on the track and even master 'controlled drifting'. If you manage that you're sure to walk away feeling like some kind of driving god, Lamborghini providing you with in-car video footage and photos of your experience so you can show your friends just how talented you are. The Academy isn't just offered to Lamborghini customers either, though you'll need to find 3,900 Euro (about £3,440) for this ultimate supercar experience.
