It's not often we get excited by car manufacturers' websites, but Nissan's new offering has got us all distracted from our workload.
The innovative new site really does have something for everyone, it being a visual feast with a mix of entertaining videos, informative facts and the usual opportunities to create your own car. We've lost count how many times we've watched the GTR 'Inspiration' and 'Nurburgring' video clips, while the extreme sports videos in the 4x4 section with mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and base jumping are the perfect accompaniment to a tea break.
With different sections catering to the differing needs and aspirations for each of Nissan's varying cars it places its vehicles in their respective environments. Hence the outdoorsy, extreme sports focus of it 4x4 section, its youthful urban setting for its crossovers and city locale for its superminis and small cars. Sports cars like the techno-fest GTR and 370Z get their time to show off on track, while future watchers can see what Nissan is planning in its innovation section.
Each area comes with a suitable soundtrack and the sort of interactivity that might mean your productivity goes down a fair bit if you're browsing at work. Quite what parkour has to do with Nissan's new Qazana all-wheel drive concept is anyone's guess, but it makes us want to go out and buy one which we guess is the point, really...
