The proliferation of new Audi models has not gone unnoticed in these parts. This year alone (2009), the Audi range will swell with the addition of the new A4 allroad quattro, A5 and S5 Cabriolets, R8 V10 supercar and the TTRS coupé, bringing the number of models British buyers can choose from to 32. Yet Audi isn't stopping there, announcing this week that a further eight new models will be introduced by 2015.
One of the most eagerly anticipated new cars is the Audi Q3 compact SUV. The company has stated that this will be on sale from 2011, closely resembling the Cross Coupé quattro concept revealed in 2007 at the Shanghai Show.
Other show cars point the way forward for Audi, with the company hinting that the Sportback concept revealed in Detroit this year could indicate how a sleek new Audi luxury car of the future will look. It's also known that Audi will produce a rival to BMW's MINI, likely to be called the A1.
Before the end of 2010, Audi will unveil three new models - possibly including replacements for current cars.
