Rolls-Royce is supporting a local outdoor performance of Toad of Toad Hall by allowing it to be performed among the gardens, lakes and courtyard of its manufacturing plant and head office.
The unique production of the A.A. Milne play from Kenneth Grahame's book The Wind in the Willows, Toad of Toad Hall will be performed by a cast of over 60 young people aged between 11 and 19.
Famous characters like Ratty, Mole, Badger and car-loving Toad will be seen at many different locations around Rolls-Royce's 42-acre site, including Wild Wood, Ratty's riverbank and Toad Hall.
The audience follows the performance around Roll-Royce's grounds on foot, accompanied by a travelling band.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chief Executive Officer, Tom Purves, said, “We are delighted to support the Chichester Festival Youth Theatre in this unique performance.”
Performed daily at Rolls-Royce from 4-16 August the production has already sold out, though returns may be available from the Chichester Festival Theatre Box Office.
