The Korean budget brands are on something of a roll at the moment and underlining this confidence is a strong showing at the Geneva Show next week from Kia. The firm will display this cool 'No 3' concept on its stand alongside three new production models. Billed as an MPV concept, the No 3 should follow other recent Kia concepts, such as the Soul, into production soon. The bold styling of the show car is likely to remain too, though some of the more unusual details - like the diagonal bar supporting the roof - are unlikely to reach the showroom version.
What should reach the road though is the No 3's striking front end design, as it's said to highlight the 'new face of Kia' with its prominent front grille, headlamps and brand logo in a new format. Designed by Kia's European design team, the brand has seriously found its design mojo in this new concept; the No 3 is a great looking compact MPV.
The smart concept will share its stand in Geneva with an upgraded Sportage model, a revised Magentis saloon, the new Soul and a range of Idle Stop & Go models and even an innovative hybrid based on the cee'd hatchback.
