Citroen is planting some crazy ideas on British soil when it shows off its C-Cactus concept car at the British International Motor Show on 23 July to 3 August.
The C-Cactus is a study in ecological design and aims to be a minimalist car.
It uses hybrid power and lots of recycled materials throughout its construction.
A combination of diesel engine and electric motor produces just 78g/km of carbon dioxide from the C-Cactus.
Citroen has also saved money and materials by using the same moulding for the front bumper as the lower rear hatch.
Alongside the C-Cactus, Citroen will show off the revised C2 supermini, new Berlingo MPV and C5 Tourer estate.
