Previous versions of Porsche's 911 GT2 were considered to be so dangerous they were labelled the 'widow maker', yet last year Porsche released a new model that is faster and more powerful than any before it. Now there's an even more extreme option.
The new GTstreet RS is the work of German tuning firm, TechArt. Taking the 530bhp 911 GT2 as a basis, TechArt significantly modifies the twin-turbocharged flat-six engine to produce a phenomenal 691bhp.
TechArt's version retains the GT2's rear-wheel drive layout, though the body receives an aerodynamic makeover to increase stability and downforce at speed.
Performance figures have yet to be released for the GTstreet RS, but it's safe to say they'll eclipse the regular GT2's 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds and its 204mph top speed.
As you'd expect, this performance comes at a price: €350,000 to be precise, which works out as more than twice the price of Porsche's version.
