Lamborghini reveals more of its concept

Lamborghini is continuing to tease fans with snapshots of the concept four-door it is due to reveal in Paris next week.

The third image to be released shows a portion of the rear of the car, a section of the rear light and a bootlid shutline obvious in the shot.

As Lamborghini slowly teases rumours of the new car grow, the previous image confirming that the new car will be front engined.

Anticipated to be a new four-door, front-engined sports super saloon the new Lamborghini would take on rivals such a the forthcoming Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.

Expected to utilise a four-wheel drive transmission mated to either V12 or V10 powerplants, the new Lamborghini concept will be the first four-seat sports car since the late 1970's Espada.

Performance should be as wild as the rest of Lamborghini's range, so expect a sub four-second 0-62mph time and a top speed in excess of 200mph.

Prices should be just as extreme: any production version of the Lamborghini would almost certainly be priced at a level to compete with Ferrari's near £222,000 Scaglietti.

We'll know all on October 2nd.
