Ok, so if you've read the last four entries you know the drill by now; cars with between 110g/km and 130g/km of tailpipe emissions generally benefit. Unfortunately, cars with more than that will probably suffer. So, why not forget derv altogether and get yourself a Hummer. That's right, the Hummer is next year's real winner, dropping from 327g/km to exactly zero. That's a saving of £440 per year. Amazing.

You'll have to sacrifice a few things, of course, like a roof, rear seats and your dignity. Still, if you want to tell your mates you've got a Hummer (still cool in some circles, apparently) and you never, ever leave the city centre or the golf course, the Mini Hummer is the beast for you. Ant and Dec have got one, too.

Seriously though, the Mini Hummer is a road legal city dweller capable of 22mph, and comes loaded with standard kit such as leather upholstery, a CD player, chrome rims and an air conditioned cool box. And at £11,000 it's cheaper than a Toyota Prius. Put that in your tailpipe and smoke it, Darling.
