With record box office takings already under the belt of the new Batman movie, Dark Knight, now's a good time to sell a genuine Batmobile.
That's what one eBay seller claims to have in an auction that ends later today. At the time of writing, the Batmobile has five bids, with the highest, $110,000 (about £60,000) not yet meeting the seller's reserve.
If you're interested, make sure you check out the description in detail, as the car on sale is not the latest military-like Batmobile, but the tail-finned turbine-powered version used by Michael Keaton in the 1989 Batman movie, in which Jack Nicholson starred.
Don't expect turbine-produced performance though, as the stunt car, which is one of five ever produced, is actually powered by a Chevy V8. It's not exactly the most manoeuvrable machine on the road either at 20-feet long and 8-feet wide.
Finally, any buyer of the Batmobile will have to enter into a contract with Warner Bros, the original owners, which limits what the car can be used for.
