Porsche 911 Turbo, The supercar choice

A 480bhp, low slung supercar might not be the obvious choice as the perfect ski car, but the 911 Turbo is more capable than you might think. Some resorts in the mountains are dripping in money and the Turbo is the ultimate sports car to arrive in real style in. It has four-wheel drive so traction on slippery roads shouldn't be an issue - especially if you've fitted it with snow tyres. They might limit its 193mph top speed, but they'll be invaluable when there's snow on the road. There are other four-wheel drive supercars out there, but none offer quite the package of the 911 Turbo - just imagine the hassle of fitting a roof-rack to a Lamborghini Murcielago with those scissor doors - or squeezing a Bugatti Veyron into a tight underground car park.

A roof box with your skis will fit on the Porsche easily and that front boot space is perfect for those bulky ski boots. Put the back of the small rear seats down and you've plenty of space for your Prada ski gear too.
