The writing has been on the wall for some time now; DaimlerChrysler wants to sell more of its Chrysler and Dodge models in Europe. To that end, each new model has been designed with a global market in mind and some have even had their world debut on European soil. Such is the case for a new concept car, the Demon, which Dodge will air at the Geneva Motor Show.
From the people that bring us the V10-engined Viper and similarly-equipped Ram pick-up, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Dodge is expecting to flaunt a traditional American sportscar on the European market, but it's obvious even in the pre-show pictures that the Demon has been designed with a wider market in mind. In fact, its main rival is likely to be the Mazda MX-5. Though billed as a concept at this stage, we think that the Demon looks showroom-ready.
