Rolls-Royce, Maybach, Ferrari, Four years, unlimited miles

The seven- and five-year categories might be dominated by budget brands, but the four-year category is fully loaded with premium kit. We're talking nothing under £100,000 here, Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Ferrari all offering well-heeled customers unlimited mile, four-year warranties. For the Rolls-Royce and the Maybach that's more likely to be of interest to the chauffeur, but the four years Ferrari offers is way better than the stingy two of rivals Porsche.

You rarely see big mileage examples of any of these cars, but we'd love to get one and drive it to the moon and back within those four years to see just how often you need to use the warranty. Not a lot we suspect.
