We've now seen the pictures and we reckon the new Ferrari California is going to be seriously hot property when it arrives later this year. Ferrari's first car to feature a folding hardtop (if you ignore the weird flip-top set up on the short-run Superamerica) the California will unquestionably be a huge hit in its namesake state. But that folding hardtop means you'll not have to compromise here in the UK, making this a real everyday Ferrari. And how cool is that? It's an exotic you really can use as your everyday motor.

Not a conventional beauty perhaps, but there are enough cues on this car to its glorious predecessors to ensure it becomes a classic itself. Those gill-like side vents, the flat rear deck and long bonnet hint at the beautiful 250 California, the V8 powering the new car certain to be even more entertaining than the classic's V12. But let's cut to the chase: what's sexier than owning a new Ferrari, particularly if you're one of the first to do so...
