Jaguar XF
It's been rolled out at numerous motor shows around the world now, and it's been driven by a select few, but 2008 is when the XF has to go out and prove itself to the customers. There's more buzz about this car than any previous Jaguar, as really it has to succeed to help secure the company's future. It faces some pretty stern opposition, the XF having to win customers who've been seduced by the German opposition. Jaguar hopes that the XF's bold new look will be enough to continue to appeal to exiting customers while also attracting new blood through the showroom doors.
All, even the lowliest six-cylinder and diesel versions, will look identical. So there's no reason to opt for the range-topping V8s for car-park kudos. Inside, too, the XF promises to wow, with its subtle interior lighting and neat pop-up automatic gear selector.
