The Toyota Previa pictured is actually still on sale as a new car at the time of writing, which is always an appealing proposition when being a used car. However, fifth place in this feature is more to do with the benefits of the Previa than with any actual problems with the car.

You see, the Previa is very highly thought of as a quality, reliable MPV, which means that elevated prices are maintained. We couldn't find a decent diesel version within our budget at a Toyota dealer, so that leaves the 2.4-litre petrol engine. There is nothing actually wrong with this engine, but your fuel bills will be significant if you plan on high mileage, which incidentally the Previa excels at.

Other good points? The Previa is very spacious (it is quite large on the outside), is pleasant to drive and has a decent level of specification. Its price lets it down here, though if you can spend a few thousand more, you won't be disappointed by the diesel option.
