Maserati Quattroporte
For those who prefer to drive themselves, the Maserati Quattroporte is clearly the enthusiast’s chariot of choice. While its exterior, penned by Pininfarina designer Lorenzo Ramaciotti, is the ultimate in elegance and style, the Italian GT’s sports car underpinnings and melodious 400bhp V8 engine guarantee an entertaining journey.
Maserati claims the 1970kg Quattroporte can complete runs from a standstill to 62mph in a scant 5.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 171mph. Now that surely is fast enough to lose half of the wedding party on the way to the reception.
Occupants on board the luxurious four-door will also be treated to swathes of high-grade leather, lustrous wood, and plush carpeting within the beautifully appointed cabin. The Maserati’s interior leaves little to be desired, featuring reclining rear seatbacks should you or your new spouse wish to relax after having met the new (and strangely intriguing) family for the first time.
