BBC Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson is selling an old pair of his Levi's to raise money for a charity auction. The denims will feature at a star-studded party called 8Rocks organised by the Dallaglio Foundation in aid of Cancer Research. Clarkson's jeans, described as being 36-inches at the waist, will be sold alongside some more appealing items like a jet fighter experience, a training session with the England rugby team and a one-off 8Rocks diamond pendant created by London jeweller David Morris.
The exclusive, ticket-only event will be held at Battersea Evolution in London on November 6th. Alongside the auction there'll be a unique raffle where Apple iPhones replace conventional tickets for a chance to win a MINI Cooper S - the winner picked by Lawrence Dallaglio dialling one of the 'tickets' at random. It's unlikely then that Clarkson's jeans will be the biggest draw at the party, but it's hoped they'll raise several thousand pounds towards the event's £500,000 target.
