Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe 2.0 : MX-5 FLIPS ITS LID

Car And Driving - There are usually significant caveats when it comes to cars with folding hard tops. Not Mazda's MX-5 Roadster Coupe. Andy Enright reports…Cars with folding hard tops are, by and large, rather grotty things. Curiously malformed with distended bottoms and pinched cabins, they usually lose their looks and their practicality once the roof's up and all you're left with is toothbrush room in the boot once the hood has done its contortionist's trick. Oh yes, these cars offer the customer more. More weight, more complexity and more expense, that is. Therefore, I shuddered when Mazda announced a `Roadster Coupe' version of the MX-5. Seems I needn't have worried after all. It's the exception that proves the rule.Mazda, it seems, is a company on a roll. When companies get in this sort of groove, good ideas flow from good people. A lot has happened since a major restructuring in 2001, a financial year that saw Mazda sell just 15,800 cars in the UK. With sales for this year forecast to be around 50,000 cars, the Hiroshima company has never been in ruder health but maintains a realistic appraisal of its position as a niche manufacturer. The trick has been to build smarter rather than harder. Between 2001 and 2003, nine new models were launched. Thanks to sharing of chassis platforms, that number rose to 16 between 2004 and 2006. The Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe is an example of offering the customer extended choice. Utilising the basis of an existing model, Mazda has managed to build a car that will appeal to a subtly different audience. For many metropolitan types, parking on street is a way of life but the hard-topped Roadster Coupe offers additional security and is vandal-proofed in a manner that no fabric-roofed car can be. It's also a little more refined than the roadster model."Mazda have managed to add to the MX-5's appeal without simultaneously making a hefty subtraction"We tried the 2.0-litre version, powered by a 160bhp four-cylinder engine. Four derivatives of this model are offered. The range opens with the 2.0i Option Pack, the said option pack comprising DSC stability control, TCS traction control and a limited slip differential. The 2.0i Sport weighs in with 17-inch alloys, a six-speed transmission, uprated suspension, front fog lights, and some additional trim detailing. The 2.0-litre engine is no thing of great beauty. It never was, but it's functional and does enough to punt the MX-5 Roadster Coupe to 62mph in 7.9 seconds and onto a top speed of 131mph. Never mind. The MX-5 - in any guise - was never about raw figures: instead, the joy of the car came in the feeling of fun and tactility it afforded. This model is no different. Although the hardtop doesn't signally improve the car's torsional rigidity when in the raised position, it does give a little more in the way of noise insulation, but otherwise it's almost impossible to tell you're not driving the soft top. In case you've bought one and were wondering where your additional £1,700 went, that really is a compliment. The roof retracts in three sections with no impact on boot space and adds just 37kg to the weight of an equivalent soft top MX-5 roadster. Raise the roof and it sits a mere centimetre taller than its fabric-trimmed sibling. Although it's tempting to think of this car as `just a roof', a lot of thought has clearly gone into it. The spring and damper settings have been subtly revised to take account of the hard top car's marginally altered weight distribution. Thankfully, the roof retracts to a position within the wheelbase of the car so that it doesn't detract too much from handling agility. Park the Roadster Coupe and the MX-5 soft top next to each other and it's possible to see the subtle way in which Mazda has teased out the shape to accommodate the folding roof. The rear deck of the car sits 40mm higher at the rear window line and 20mm higher at the trailing edge of the boot, giving it a slightly more hunched and powerful look than the soft top. It's really a very minor change and tough to discern in isolation. Whereas the average duration for a roof operation of this kind tends to be around 22 seconds, Mazda has whittled that time back to a mere 12 seconds for the MX-5 Roadster Coupe - making it the fastest folding hard top in the world at the time of launch. The driver must unlatch a centre lock and then press a button to operate the roof but it can easily be done while waiting at lights. The roof itself is composed of three panels; a front roof section, a middle roof part and a window assembly. Highly formable yet stiff plastics were required to keep weight low and durability high. When the roof is opened, an electrically-powered mechanism folds it rearwards and stows it under a rear deck cover, rather than in a `cartridge' in the boot as with many other coupe-cabriolets. So, you can have the boot full to the gunwales and still fold the roof. Go for a driving holiday in rival cars and that's not on the cards: it's luggage or wind in the hair. The Mazda MX-5 is a tough car to improve upon but the Roadster Coupe just about manages it, effectively offering added capability with - cost aside - almost no downside. With many MX-5 models down the years, the ethos was always less is more. The entry-level car was usually the best bet but the Roadster-Coupe changes this, offering a slightly more mature feel that rewards a bigger engine and more kit. Now I'm just drooling at the prospect of Mazda's 2.3-litre 258bhp turbocharged engine fitted to this car. That would be incredible.Facts At A Glance CAR: Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe 2.0 range PRICES: £19,345-£21,195 - on the road INSURANCE GROUP: 13 CO2 EMISSIONS: 183g/km-193g/km PERFORMANCE: Max Speed 131mph / 0-60mph 7.9 FUEL CONSUMPTION: 36.7mpg STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: Twin front and side airbags, ABS WILL IT FIT IN YOUR GARAGE?: Length/Width/Height, 3995/1720/1255mm

Mazda MX-5 Range : PURE AND SIMPLE

Car And Driving - Mazda's MX-5 didn't obviously need improving but Mazda did it anyway. Steve Walker reportsMazda's MX-5 remains the undisputed king of the affordable roadster segment. This part of the market isn't over-blessed with subjects at the moment and the latest set of improvements means that any newcomers that do emerge will have a difficult job dethroning the monarch. For pure driving pleasure on a budget, the MX-5 continues to be where it's at.Beneath the friendly, accessible, even cute façade of Mazda's MX-5 lurks a streak of determined control freakery that has seen the car lord it over the affordable roadster market since 1989. There's something about Mazda's ubiquitous sports car that strikes fear into rival manufacturers to the extent that over the last two decades, only a plucky few have dared challenge it with likeminded models. To drive it or look at it, you'd never know but the MX-5 seems to guard its own corner of the market as jealously as a lion would a freshly slain wildebeest and now a package of revisions has been introduced to further underpin its dominance. Under normal circumstances, the merest whiff of profit in a sparsely populated area of the car market has the leading brands circling like vultures looking to grab their piece of the action. The Mazda MX-5, however, has done very nicely for twenty years without much in the way of direct or sustained competition. Could it be that Mazda's roadster is simply too good, making other brands reluctant to throw their own efforts into the ring for a swift mauling? If that is the case, things aren't about to get any easier with the latest facelifted MX-5 offering sharper styling and numerous improvements to its already slick driving experience. The MX-5's roar has never been as impressive as its bite. The 1.8 and 2.0-litre petrol engines offered enough power to exploit the car's agile chassis but didn't reward you with a banshee wail or a feral snarl when you left your foot in the corner. Modifications to the intake manifold and the introduction of a forged crankshaft on today's car are specifically designed to produce the kind of aural exhilaration that can add so much to a roadster's character. The 2.0-litre engine also has an extended rev limit so that it now tops out at 7,500rpm while peak power of 158bhp is generated at 7,000rpm. The 1.8-litre unit delivers its 124bhp maximum at 6,500rpm."This package of further underpins the MX-5's dominance in its sector…"Power, of course, has never been the point of the MX-5. The joy of the little Mazda has always emanated from the purity of its chassis and its intuitive handling. The Japanese call it Jinba Ittai, the feeling of oneness between car and driver: if we call it `fun' we won't be a million miles away. Compared to more hardcore sports cars, the MX-5 has always felt softer and more forgiving but its pure, communicative driving experience always gave it the edge over most of them in terms of sheer enjoyment. The current car moves the game on with a number of small revisions. A retuned suspension set-up encourages faster responses to steering inputs and reduces body roll. The 6-speed manual gearbox has been revised for faster, smother shifts and an automatic gearbox is available for the first time. Five basic requirements were defined to realise Mazda's design criteria for the MX-5. Firstly the car would be as light as possible while meeting global safety requirements. Next, the cockpit would comfortably accommodate two full stature occupants with no wasted space. The basic layout would continue with the original's front-engine rear-wheel drive configuration with the engine positioned ahead of the driver but behind the front axle for a 50:50 front to rear weight distribution. All four wheels would be attached by wishbone or multi-link suspension systems to maximize tyre performance, road grip and dynamic stability. Finally, the chassis would provide a solid connection between the engine and the rear mounted differential to sharpen throttle response. The car puts a big tick beside all those boxes and in its latest guise, dresses the winning formula in a smarter suit of clothes. The changes aren't drastic but the front end now has a more aggressive edge courtesy of a reshaped air-intake with cutaway sections either side to house the fog lights. Revisions to the side sills and the rear bumper complete the effect. The MX-5 interior is simple but effective and does indeed have space for a pair of lofty adults. There's more silver detailing about the place and that gives a more upmarket feel than the previous dark plastics. The hard-topped Roadster Coupe model has also undergone a series of changes aimed at reducing cabin noise. As ever, MX-5 customers can choose from 1.8 and 2.0-litre petrol engines as well as deciding on a soft top roof or the folding hard-top Roadster Coupe. The 1.8-litre cars have a 5-speed manual gearbox but the 2.0-litre models get the further option of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto. Despite its dominance of the affordable coupe market, what's surprising about the MX-5 is how sales have decayed since its initial introduction. In 1990, its first full year of production, it enjoyed worldwide sales of 75,789 cars. Sales tailed off until 1998 when in its first full year the Mk2 MX-5 sold 49,205 units. Again, sales attenuated to such an extent that in 2005 only 14,316 cars were shifted. In 2006, Mazda sold 22,546 of the Mk3 MX-5, yet the concept of a lightweight, affordable sports car seems as relevant today as ever before, maybe more so. Without notable direct rivals, perhaps the MX-5's time could be about to come again. The latest MX-5 has also improved its environmental credentials. The car's lightweight design gives it a solid base for reducing emissions and enhancing fuel economy and now Mazda engineers have lowered the rolling resistance of the tyres, reduced engine friction and altered the gear ratios to move the game on further. The catalytic converter has also been upgraded to improve emissions performance. Expect to average between 35 to 40mpg on a regular basis, depending on your engine choice, while insurance should be somewhere between groups 11 and 13. There might be fewer of them around than there were in the MX-5's 1990s heyday but people looking for a low cost convertible sports car still only have one real choice. Mazda has ensured through the most recent series of revisions that rival marques will continue to think long and hard before going head to head with the king of the roadsters. As it stands, the MX-5 is the sort of car that will appeal to those who take a tactile pleasure from the experience of driving. Unfortunately this sort of driving for driving's sake is becoming rare and there are many better cars to be stuck in a traffic jam in. There are few better cars for indulging a long and winding detour though.Facts At A Glance CAR: Mazda MX-5 range PRICES: £16,345-£21,695 - on the road INSURANCE GROUPS: 11-13 CO2 EMISSIONS: 167-188g/km PERFORMANCE: [2.0] Max Speed 130mph / 0-60mph 7.9s [est] FUEL CONSUMPTION: [1.8] (combined) 40.4mpg STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: Twin front and side airbags, ABS WILL IT FIT IN YOUR GARAGE?: Length/Width/Height, 4020/1720/1245mm

Mazda MX-5 2.0i : GIVE ME FIVE!

Car And Driving - Roadsters Don't Get Much More Fun Than This At Any Price. Steve Walker Tries Mazda's Latest MX-5…There can be little doubt that Mazda hit on a winning formula with their MX-5 roadster back in 1989. Prior to the launch of the latest third generation model, a massive 725,000 MX-5s had been produced and getting on for 200,000 of those models had found homes with European customers. In light of this record-breaking showroom performance for what remains essentially a niche market product, Mazda would have been mad to tinker with the car too vigorously. They didn't, and the result is an enhanced, honed product that's better in numerous subtle ways, but which retains the core appeal that has made the MX-5 the world's roadster of choice. Here, we're considering the 2.0-litre model. For the time being, it's the range-topping MX-5 by virtue of its positioning just above the 1.8-litre alternative. Rumours of a 2.3-litre derivative or possible turbocharging shenanigans will keep true performance nuts on their toes. The two engines you can buy are separated by £1,000 in terms of list prices and by 35bhp in terms of grunt. The decision on which to opt for would appear to be a clear cut one, with the 160bhp 2.0-litre powerplant offering greater performance for those who are that way inclined, and the 125bhp 1.8 taking care of business with respect to buyers on tighter budgets. The 2.0-litre MX-5 is, predictably, the quicker of the two. It can hit 60mph from standstill in 7.9s while the 1.8 trails home with a 9.4s time but straight-line speed has never really been the point of MX-5 ownership. This is a car with the thrill of driving as its key constituent part: it's all about delivering poise, balance and sharpness without at any stage becoming hard-edged or threatening. This is what has made the MX-5 the success that it is and the 1.8-litre model comes up with the goods almost as well as the 2.0 in many respects. There's more flexibility in the 2.0-litre engine which has 188Nm at 5,000rpm compared to 167Nm at 4,500rpm in the 1.8. The difference can be felt when accelerating up hills or overtaking but it isn't massive. The 2.0-litre power option turns in a 36.7mpg average economy figure which means that you'll only get two miles further on a gallon of unleaded in the 1.8."The whole process of folding and deploying the roof is remarkable simple."Neither of the MX-5 engines is particularly charismatic and if you like a spine-tingling accompaniment to your open-topped driving experience, it might be best to slip a recording of Honda's manic S2000 into the CD stereo. If anything, the 1.8 is a marginally sweeter-sounding unit with a more satisfying howl when it's extended. The 2.0-litre always comes across as a little flat acoustically and on the open road with the top down, you wouldn't credit that Mazda tried 59 different exhaust silencers to find the sound they wanted. The plus side of this is top drawer refinement in the cabin with the roof up, which is were many British MX-5 owners will spend much of their driving time. Drop the top and the wind blocker mounted between the seats does a great job of keeping elaborate hairstyles intact. There are even special modes on the ventilation system designed specifically for open-topped driving. The whole process of folding and deploying the roof is remarkably simple. Mazda claim you can detach and fold the canopy back in six seconds but that's a highly conservative estimate. Unclip a catch, fling the roof over your shoulder and you're there. Putting it back up when the heavens open is similarly straightforward and only requires a little more effort. The driving position in the MX-5 is low and comfortable with a good degree of adjustment to accommodate drivers of various proportions. The seat slides fore and aft a surprising distance given the comparatively limited space and the steering column adjusts for height. The gearbox with its short, stubby lever is a real pleasure to use delivering a punchy feel. One drawback is that the top section of the shifter had a tendency to twist round in your hand on our test model. The steering is key to the whole MX-5 experience and, true to form, it's keen and accurate. You can point the car into corners with confidence and small adjustments provoke an almost instant response. This MX-5 is no less than 47 per cent stiffer than its predecessor, which helps reduce the flexing and shuddering often evident in roofless cars. Over the bumps and through the corners, the MX-5 never feels less than solid but the damping is well resolved and the MX-5 remains very comfortable when cruising at low or motorway speeds. Today's MX-5 is only 10kg heavier than the old model thanks to what Mazda call their `gram strategy'. Essentially, if it was possible to shave as little as a gram from the weight of a component, they did it. This strict diet regime has obvious benefits with regard to handling, performance and fuel economy but it's been brought in with no apparent shortcuts taken in terms of build quality. The interior is well put together along simple design themes. The interlocking aluminium rings of the instruments are a standout feature and the clearly laid-out centre console controls are easy to fathom. All Mazda MX-5 models get 16" steel wheels, ABS, remote central locking, heated electric door mirrors, twin front airbags and a CD Stereo. The 2.0-litre cars add a limited slip differential, dynamic stability control (DSC), traction control and side airbags into the mix. Upgrade to the Sport trim level and 17" alloys, the six-speed gearbox, front fog lights, upgraded suspension and heated leather seats are included. Given a straight choice, most would take the Mazda MX-5's 2.0-litre engine but the extra £1,000 may be a barrier for some and the inferior performance of the 1.8 probably wouldn't make much difference to the average MX-5 customer. The car is bundles of fun regardless of which unit is doing the business under the bonnet. As an introduction to the essential joys of sports car ownership, there's nothing better than an MX-5.Facts At A Glance CAR: Mazda MX-5 2.0i range PRICES: £17,345-£19,695 - on the road INSURANCE GROUPS: 11-13 CO2 EMISSIONS: 183-193g/km PERFORMANCE: Max Speed 130mph / 0-60mph 7.9s FUEL CONSUMPTION: [5-speed] 36.7mpg STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: Twin front and side airbags, ABS WILL IT FIT IN YOUR GARAGE?: Length/Width/Height, 3995/1720/1245mm

Mazda MX-5 1.8i : ALL THE ROADSTER YOU'LL EVER NEED

Car And Driving - Mazda's MX-5 Deserves Its Plaudits But Why Buy The Ranging-Topping Car When The 1.8i Delivers Most Of The Pleasure For A Grand Less? Steve Walker Reports…Unusually in the sports car field, power isn't really all that important when it comes to Mazda's MX-5. There will obviously be raving performance nuts out there that yearn for turbocharging, a V6 engine or both to launch the little roadster off the line but they're missing the point. The MX-5 produces enjoyment through the oneness it assumes with its driver. Rocket ship acceleration isn't necessary, just a sunny day and a contorting B-road. That's why the MX-5's entry-level 1.8-litre engine option could be the pick of the bunch.Part of the essential joy of this MX-5 is its predilection to be ragged within an inch of its life. Neither of the car's two engine options produce straight line performance that you could call blistering but, in common with many Japanese petrol units, they urge drivers to push the revs to the red line in each gear. The reward for adopting this `foot in the corner' policy should be a high-pitched growl from the engine with a rich exhaust accompaniment. Mazda conducted extensive sound tuning on the car to perfect the acoustic experience but the 2.0-litre 158bhp unit still sounds duller than you might hope. The 125bhp 1.8-litre alternative is far sweeter and rewards hard driving more vocally. With a 0-60mph acceleration time of 9.4s, there's plenty of scope to explore the 1.8-litre MX-5's potential without entering licence confiscation territory. The 2.0-litre unit is capable of 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds which is still fairly tame by today's standards. Neither car will trouble any of the top-line hot hatchbacks that are currently available in a traffic light face off. The entry level car has a 122mph top speed compared to 130mph in the range-topper. Both of the MX-5's engines use a double overhead camshaft, four cylinder, 16-valve configuration but the 1.8 does without the sequential inlet valve timing system found on the 2.0-litre. The performance difference isn't too dramatic, although the 2.0-litre feels significantly stronger through the mid-range thanks to its 188Nm torque rating at 5,000rpm - the 1.8 manages 167Nm at 4,500rpm. There's little difference between the two on fuel economy, the 1.8 averaging 38mpg and the 2.0-litre 36mpg."Part of the essential joy of this MX-5 is its predilection to be ragged within an inch of its life."Priced at a little over £16,000, the standard MX-5 1.8i is around £1,000 cheaper than the equivalent 2.0i model. It features a vinyl soft top, 16" steel wheels, body-coloured bumpers, ABS, twin front airbags and an alarm/immobiliser system. Buyers also receive electric windows, remote central locking, CD stereo, height adjustable steering column and heated electric door mirrors. In the 2.0-litre, aside from the additional performance, your £1,000 or so buys you a limited slip differential, dynamic stability control, traction control and side airbags. In coupe form the MX5 costs around £1,000 more. This painstakingly strict diet regime has obvious benefits with regard to handling, performance and fuel economy but it's been brought in with no apparent shortcuts taken in terms of build quality. The interior is well put together along simple design themes. The interlocking aluminium rings of the instruments are a standout feature and the clearly laid-out centre console controls are easy to fathom. Regardless of the model they plump for, it's hard to see how any keen driver could be disappointed with the Mazda MX-5. The car is everything that a good roadster should be - light, responsive, agile and charismatic. The 1.8i entry level model offers most of the driving enjoyment of the more expensive 2.0-litre with the added benefit of a naughtier engine note. It lacks a little of the range-topping car's refinement when cursing and some of its mid range muscle but on the quiet B-roads where roadsters are meant to be driven it's just as adept. Drive one for a succinct lesson on why power shouldn't be the priority in sports cars.Facts At A Glance CAR: Mazda MX-5 1.8i PRICE: £16,340-£16,890 - on the road INSURANCE GROUP: 11E CO2 EMISSIONS: 174g/km PERFORMANCE: Max Speed 122mph / 0-60mph 9.4s FUEL CONSUMPTION: 38mpg (combined) STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: Twin front airbags, ABS WILL IT FIT IN YOUR GARAGE?: Length/Width/Height, 3995/1720/1245mm

Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe : SHOWING ITS METAL

Car And Driving - Defying expectations, the Mazda MX-5 might just be even better in folding hard-top Roadster Coupe form. Steve Walker reports.Cars with folding hard top roofs can be rather grotty things. Therefore, I shuddered when Mazda first announced a `Roadster Coupe' version of the MX-5. Seems I needn't have worried after all. It's the exception that proves the rule.Utilising the basis of an existing MX-5, Mazda managed to build a car that will appeal to a subtly different audience. For many metropolitan types, parking on street is a way of life but the hard-topped Roadster Coupe offers additional security and is vandal-proofed in a manner that no fabric-roofed car can be. It's also a little more refined than the soft-top model. The latest cars benefited from a facelift which sharpened the styling and also introduced the PowerShift six-speed sequential transmission which should suit Roadster Coupe buyers rather well. The same 159bhp 2.0-litre and 124bhp 1.8-litre engines shift the Roadster Coupe as power the standard MX-5. The famously wristy short throw sports gear change has been retained on the manual models with the 1.8-litre cars getting a five-speed box and the 2.0-litre alternatives coming with a choice of this, a six-speed manual or the PowerShift sequential automatic. This auto option can be operated in manual mode via the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters or set to act like a standard automatic gearbox. Both of the MX-5's engines thrive on revs as any good roadster powerplant should, the 2.0-litre option gives its peak power at a heady 7,000rpm, just 500rpm short of the red line so owners are rewarded for a heavy right foot. The MX-5 - in any guise - has never been about raw figures: instead, the joy of the car comes in the feeling of fun and tactility it affords. This model is no different. Although the hardtop doesn't signally improve the car's torsional rigidity when in the raised position, it does give a little more in the way of noise insulation, but otherwise it's almost impossible to tell you're not driving the soft-top."The Mazda MX-5 is a tough car to improve upon but the Roadster Coupe just about manages it"The roof retracts in three sections with no impact on boot space and adds just 37kg to the weight of an equivalent soft top MX-5 roadster. Raise the roof and it sits a mere centimetre taller than its fabric-trimmed sibling. Although it's tempting to think of this car as `just a roof', a lot of thought has clearly gone into it. The spring and damper settings are subtly revised to take account of the hard top car's marginally altered weight distribution. Thankfully, the roof retracts to a position within the wheelbase of the car so that it doesn't detract too much from handling agility. The latest MX-5 has a front end with a more aggressive edge courtesy of a reshaped air-intake with cutaway sections either side to house the fog lights. Revisions to the side sills and the rear bumper complete the effect. Inside, there's silver detailing about the place and that gives a more upmarket feel than the previous dark plastics and noise insulation has been improved. Whereas the average duration for a roof operation of this kind tends to be around 22 seconds, Mazda has whittled that time back to a mere 12 seconds for the MX-5 Roadster Coupe. The driver must unlatch a centre lock and then press a button to operate the roof but it can easily be done while waiting at lights. Boot capacity is a surprisingly usable 150litres whether the roof is up or down. Standard equipment on the Roadster Coupe includes 16" alloy wheels, twin chrome exhaust pipes, climate control air-conditioning, electric windows, remote central locking and a CD stereo. The next step is the 2.0-litre car which adds, DSC stability control, which is almost worth the £1,000 premium in itself, traction control and an LSD limited slip differential. The 2.0-litre Sport model then chucks in the 6-speed manual gearbox, Blistein sports shock absorbers, a strut brace for the front suspension to stiffen things up further, 17" alloy wheels, a BOSE audio system, cruise control and Bluetooth compatibility. The PowerShift gearbox comes only with the 2.0-litre engine and shares the Sport specification but without the LSD and the sports dampers. The latest MX-5 Roadster Coupe has improved its environmental credentials. The hard-top version of the MX-5 should definitely bring the car onto the radar of a new group of buyers. The security and refinement associated with the metal roof will certainly appeal and the PowerShift automatic gearbox option will also prove a neat fit with buyers wanting a more relaxed everyday drive.Facts At A Glance CAR: Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe range PRICES: £18,345-£21,695 - on the road INSURANCE GROUPS: 11-13 CO2 EMISSIONS: 167-188g/km PERFORMANCE: [2.0] Max Speed 131mph / 0-60mph 7.9 [est] FUEL CONSUMPTION: [1.8] 40.4mpg STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: Twin front airbags, ABS WILL IT FIT IN YOUR GARAGE?: Length/Width/Height, 3995/1720/1255mm
