Gembella diamond paint job 'world's most expensive'

Want to be a diamond geezer? This is the car for you…

A car company has announced it will offer the world's most expensive

paint job where customers stump up £200,000 to have their motor covered

in diamonds.

Engineering

outfit Gemballa is known for taking super-fast Porsches and turning

them into even quicker vehicles, but now the German company has switched

its attentions to above the bonnet with equally impressive results.

It’s launching the world’s first diamond coating service for the inside and outside of cars.

Although

the firm has refused to reveal the exact price of the paint job, a

spokesperson revealed it could comfortably exceed the value of one their

cars- which typically cost in excess of £200,000.

A specialist

team will grind the diamonds into a size small enough that they can be

painted onto the car’s bodywork without losing that all important

sparkle.

Gemballa has promised that the service will be "more

than just a special paint", describing it as a "very special gem that

should be equally attractive to both ladies and gentlemen of

sophistication".

The firm’s CEO, Andreas Schwarz, added: "When

Gemballa speaks of diamonds, we really mean it. Our complex process uses

genuine diamonds as its key ingredient - not metal pigments, glass

fragments, or crystals.”
