The Nissan Juke may not have the bells and whistles of an Aston Martin but it is the UK’s favourite car for gadgets, according to research.
Although it would only set you back £13,000 the Juke comes with a range of features commonly expected on pricier models, such as a speed limiter, touchscreen sat-nav and wireless Bluetooth connectivity. The more expensive models are fitted with a rear-view camera which gives drivers a closer look when reversing.
More than 29,000 drivers gave the Juke a combined 92.47% approval rating, which put it ahead of pricier high-end models.

“The Nissan Juke is a real treat for gadget fans,” said Steve Fowler, editor-in-chief of Auto Express, who carried out the research. “As well as a decent stereo and smartphone connectivity, it comes with a clever dynamic-control system that lets drivers choose between normal, eco and sport-driving modes”.
Skoda took second and third in the poll with the Yeti and Superb respectively, while the Nissan Qashqai came fourth in popularity for inbuilt gadgets. The Hyundai i30 and Toyota Prius rounded off the top five.
The Juke is assembled at the Nissan plant in Sunderland.Surprisingly executive cars fared poorly in the poll, with the Lexus IS the only one to make the top ten.
“Modern vehicles are often crammed with clever features, but unless they are packaged in a way that enables the driver to easily operate them they will either become a source of frustration or simply ignored,” said Nissan UK marketing director Steve McLennan.
“The reversing camera fitted in the Juke is a good example of the type of equipment normally associated with higher-end cars.”
